Katrina Opposite Rajinikanth ?
Grapevine is abuzz that Katrina Kaif, Bollywood's top-notch actress will be paired opposite Rajinikanth in the latter's forthcoming 3D film, 'Kochadaiyaan'!
A lil' birdie tells us that Katrina Kaif has been approached by the team of 'Kochadaiyaan' and she was overwhelmed, obviously, and decided to allot dates for this South biggie.
As per reports, Soundarya Rajinikanth who is wielding the megaphone for this project with KS Ravikumar's assistance has expressed that the team has approached Katrina Kaif and she has given a nod, however, the leggy actress is yet to sign on the dotted lines for the project.
The film also has Sneha as Rajinikanth's sister and Prithviraj in a pivotal role. Only a couple of days back Rajini was quoted saying he's all set to kick start the shoot of this film.
An official announcement on the cast and crew of the film is expected to be made shortly.

Rajini’s Advice to Youth
Superstar Rajinikanth attended the awards-giving ceremony conducted by his wife Latha’s Ashram Arts Academy over the last weekend. Many stalwarts including director K. Balachander and Bollywood actress Asha Parekh took part at the event. Soon after the function was over, Rajini got into a waiting Innova car which had dark glasses so as to shield him from public view.
Even as Rajini’s car waded through the thick crowd towards the entrance, many remained unawares that the ‘man of the masses’ was inside the car. Rajini’s driver didn’t blare the horn and slowly approached the gate and then came out of the Kamarajar Auditorium, the venue of the function. When the car turned into the main road, Rajini spotted a couple of scribes standing near the entrance and downed the glass-shield for a brief second to wish them.
This was enough for an youth who had been following the car right from the venue to confirm that Rajini was inside the car. He started following Rajini’s car at a hectic speed. A few hundred meters from the venue, Rajini’s car stopped at the traffic signal and was waiting to turn right.
Rajini, who was inside the car, noticed the youth’s desperation to chase his car. Rajini downed the wind-shield again and then called the youth over. The youth couldn’t believe himself that the great superstar was beckoning to him and he didn’t even part his bike properly and rushed to where Rajini’s car was waiting at the signal.
Rajini advised the youth to first pull himself up and take breath. He also told him that it was completely wrong to ride on his bike at such a pace amid heavy traffic. Even as the youth stood there dumbfounded, Rajini’s car took off from the signal at a great pace once the green light was displayed!

Rajini's bit for the anti corruption fast
While the Anna team had to struggle a lot to pay the 8 lakh rent for MMRDA grounds in Mumbai for the anti corruption fast, seems like they will have it easy in Chennai. Superstar Rajinikanth has offered his Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam for the protestors for the three-day fast.
Addressing the media, India Against Corruption’s (IAC) Central Core Committee member M.S. Chandramohan said that Rajinikanth accepted their request and agreed to provide the Mandapam free of cost. “We had approached him for support. He accepted it and said he was always for anti-corruption,” he said.
